·Waukesha Kennel Club All-Breed Dog Show: July 25-27, Waukesha County Exposition Center, 1000 Northview Road, Waukesha.
·Jukebox Saturday Night: 6 p.m. July 26, Olympia Resort & Conference Center, 1350 Royale Mile Road, Oconomowoc. Cocktails, silent auction, dinner, live entertainment and ’50s music. Attire from the ’50s encouraged but not required.
·Trivia Scavenger Pontoon Float: 5:45 p.m. July 26, Lake Keesus, starting at Dan Willem’s dock. Hosted by Lake Keesus Advancement Association, the event features a scavenger hunt on the lake, and food and beverages afterward.
·Dousman Derby Days: July 25-27, Cory Park, Main Street, Dousman. Live music, food, carnival rides, sports tournaments, parade and the Wisconsin State Championship Frog Jump competition.
·Taste of Lake Country: 5 to 10:30 p.m. July 25 and 3 to 10:30 p.m. July 26, at Lakefront Park, 222 W. Wisconsin Ave., Pewaukee. Live music, food, beverages, kids activities and fireworks.

    After several years of erosion eating away the Mukwonago River shoreline in Indianhead Park, a project to stabilize the shoreline and create a more natural appearance will begin soon, possibly in the beginning of August.

    Headway is being made in Country Bliss subdivision, as a fourth pump was used last Thursday and Friday and water levels continue to decline.
